I’ve managed to get my hands on the premium collection by Estée Lauder which is the Re-Nutriv series. As Estée Lauder is famously known for their brown bottle Advanced Night Repair Serum, some may not even heard of their most high-end range, Re-Nutriv which further categorize into few collections where the most expensive is the Ultimate Diamond, followed by Youth Collection, Age Correcting and Classic Re-Nutriv for those from the old school era. 

I got their special set which consists of Ultimate Lift Regenerating Youth Eye Creme (15ml), Ultimate Lift Regenerating Youth Treatment Lotion (50ml), Ultimate Lift Regenerating Youth Creme (7ml) and a high-quality suede inner vanity case in glamorous gold. As you can see this range is well-packaged in a golden tub to suit its premium line.

The texture is very creamy into somewhat gelee consistency. And it has a distinctive heavy floral smell but not overpowering that to the like of a perfume or fragrance scent. The color is a resemblance of a generic face cream which usually yellowish. 

Upon application, you’ll be surprised that it’s quite thick and heavy but after the few strokes of massaging, it absorbs into your skin without leaving the initial feel of tackiness. 

I sometimes pair it with Estée Lauder Cryotherapy Instant Eye De-Puffing Wand. The reason that I only occasionally use it, is because my eyes have not been puffy for quiet sometime after using my holy-grail skincare brand from Decorte’s Moisture Liposome Eye Cream. I’ll be doing the review of this product in the future as well together with the De-Puffing Wand as this is my combo eyes care previously.

Ultimate Lift Regenerating Youth Treatment Lotion (50ml)

The lotion texture is quite heavy, it seems watery but actually not, as upon application you can feel that it’s heavily intense as it feels superbly hydrated upon layering on your face but it does absorb quickly leaving a firmer and hydrated skin. However, the firm effect doesn’t last long The lotion is also in yellowish gold color similar to the color of the golden bottle. Strangely I do enjoy the scent of this lotion as it has a floral scent that feels soothing for me.

Rich creamy creme texture and in pale yellowish tone. Immediately upon application, you’ll know either you going to like or give this a pass. for me I definitely have to let this go as it doesn’t suit my skin due to the tackiness and I felt my skin is unable to breathe and suffocated. I believe this is more suitable for dry, matured skin or those with winter season. Or I should give it a try on their Gelee series instead as I’m more prone to breakout due to oily skin combination. So it’s also definitely a no-no for men as usually men prefer something that is light and not heavy but at the same time is hydrating. I’ve had the same aftermath similar to The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang Seol Radiant White Moisture Cream where I’ll wake up to extremely oily skin. 

Result

The result after using for more than 3 months especially on the eye cream is quite tremendous. I noticed my eyes are rejuvenated only after 3 weeks of usage. As my most obvious problem is the dark circle and fine lines. I managed to reduced puffiness using Decorte’s Moisture Liposome Eye Cream however it did not help on my panda eyes. This eye cream has immensely brightened my dark circle and I’m very pleased and proudly shared this among my friend as they also noticed and amazed by the result. My fine lines also reduced remarkably and I’m quite shocked when my friend told me that my fine lines are gone whereby I also did not notice at first. However, it’s still there when I look super close in the mirror, just that it has greatly reduced and not completely gone.

While using the treatment lotion, the only result I’ve seen is skin is more hydrated and supple but there is no lifting effect for me, firming is only felt upon application but gone afterwards. Other than that I think it is nothing worthy for me to re-purchase. 

As for the cream, as I’ve mentioned it’s very rich and tacky but for the sake of result I did use all of it since it’s only 7ml, I managed to used it for one and a half week since it did not break my skin just that I felt extremely uncomfortable. But I did not see any of the claimed result on lifted and firmer skin. Maybe the usage quantity and period is not enough to show the result. So I can’t say anything on this other than I did not like the consistency and texture of the cream.

I definitely would re-purchase the eye cream due to the obvious result, I’m only giving it 4.5 stars due to the price point. As for the treatment lotion since the result is not worth investing as its quite expensive for just a mediocre result. Same goes to the cream, it’s very expensive so I do not dare to invest the full size since on the 7ml, I’ve been uncomfortable with the application.
