The most hype facial cleansing brush that takes over the world is none other than Foreo. The silicone brush has replaced how we clean our face using just bare hand or even the conventional brushes, etc Clarisonic that is very old school.
I got myself a Foreo Luna Go for Men (Black) that specifically targeted for men and also very convenient to bring. I used it for quite some time and I’m impressed with the result and think that’s it from a facial cleansing brush.
Not until I accidentally found another brand that kinda lookalike of Foreo in which at first I thought it’s a knock-off, known as Nion Beauty. I’ve tried to do some more research on this brand Nion Beauty and saw promising reviews and only decided to give this a try. I’ve gotten the Opus Elite which is similar price point to Luna 2 at that point.
You can never imagine that since then I’ve stopped using Foreo and switch over to Opus Elite by Nion Beauty. This brand is extremely underrated that none of my friends ever heard of this.
However, it’s such a great product from Nion Beauty which is on par with Foreo (or even better in my own opinion) which I believe it’s due to the additional function of S-ion Technology Silicone that contains silver and tourmaline.I don’t think Foreo has this feature. I’m not sure about their latest Luna 3.
Silver treated silicone is known to have antibacterial functions against fungal and bacteria growth while tourmaline infused silicone is also able to generate negative ion for a very long time. Negatives ions work like tiny magnets. They attach to positively charged toxins (dirt/pollutant) creating a heavier element which rinses away easily.
For Opus Elite, they have this Kinetic Skin Cleansing System which I believe is the same functions as Foreo’s T-Sonic Pulsation that is the kinetic energy (vibrations) help to release toxins, improve circulation and preserve natural oils whilst cleansing skin.
It also has a base to charge the device wirelessly in compare to Foreo, still using the conventional cable. Aside from that basically both brands do share most of the similar function as in the anti-aging mode, rechargeable, etc. Talking about rechargeable, I’ve been using this device for almost a year and I don’t even think I’ve charged more than 5 times or less than that. It lithium polymer battery lasts extremely long for around 3 – 4 months.
Even though it’s quite big, I don’t mind bringing it around when I’m travelling as it’s really effective in clearing up pores and especially cosmetic or sunscreen that got stuck inside your pores.
The only downside I’ve noticed is only on the aesthetic point of view, which the aluminum alloy base as you can see is coated in gold color started to run-off. For me, it is common to wear and tear as long as it doesn’t affect the performance.

All the expected results are immediate and I’m extremely surprised how such an underrated brand could deliver the extraordinary effect. Pores are minimized, skins feel thoroughly clean, smooth, and radiant. There’s not even a day I’m not using the Opus Elite
