De-puffing with Moisture Liposome Eye Cream by Decorté

This is part 2 of my eye care regime that finally managed to ease one of my long-time problems which is heavy eyes bag and dark circle with fines lines.

I’ve tried a lot of eye care products for many years from mid-range to those from drugstores (Laneige, Innisfree, Hada Labo, etc) but none of these have resolved those issues I’m facing, not until I’ve started to use my holy grail skincare from Decorté. You may see my very first few posts are all about my highly rave products from Decorté.

So I’ve started using their eye cream, Moisture Liposome Eye Cream not long after I’ve started investing in Decorté as my main skincare regime. During this time also I’ve managed to get hold of my self the Estée Lauder’s Cryotherapy Instant Eye De-Puffing Wand.

✵✵ Product ✵✵

Similarly, with Decorté’s Liposome range and for those that are familiar with their iconic purple color packaging well known for the ability to condition and retain moisture, this is an eye cream that densely packed with lasting hydration and moisturizing abilities, which able to focus on dryness around the eyes that may cause fine wrinkles, bags, discoloration, and lack of firmness.

Its moisturizing ability is 1.3 times that of Hyaluronic Acid. It also contains Polyglutamic Acid, a moisturizing ingredient that retains moisture for long periods of time. The highly compounded multi-layered Liposome delivers moisture to all corners of the skin layer, while the Polyglutamic Acid heightens the Liposomes’ ability to retain moisture, to ensure deep and lasting hydration. To understand more on Decorté’s Liposome technology, I’ve covered it in this link.

It’s an oil-free gel and very lightweight. It’s in white translucent color and upon application, it’s somewhat watery. It penetrates quickly as well similar to its Liposome series and it glides very well with the Estée Lauder’s Cryotherapy Instant Eye De-Puffing Wand. The scent is very refreshing and soothing, nothing fancy that turn you off.

✵✵ Result ✵✵

1 bottle of 15ml can last me for almost 6 months. For the first 3 weeks using it solely, the effect is not so obvious but I did notice that the eyes area tends to be supple and firm. After pairing it up with the Estée Lauder’s Cryotherapy Instant Eye De-Puffing Wand, most WOW effects resulted in reducing my puffiness. Day after day, my puffiness seems to flatten and disappear till now. Even though I’ve stopped using this eye cream since I’ve switched up to Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lift Regenerating Youth Eye Creme, my eyes retained its resilience and no more puffy eyes.

It’s important to retain moisture as the skin around our eyes tend to be drier regardless of your skin types as dehydrated skin can result in puffy eyes. So hydrated skin help in aiding the process of de-puffing together with the lymphatic drainage massage which helps blood circulation around the eyes.

The only downside is it does not help in my dark circle and fine lines.

✵✵ Overall Rating ✵✵

Rating: 4 out of 5.

In conclusion, I might re-purchase this eye cream again if it’s under a promotion or comes with a coffret set offer due to the price point. As it is not a “multipurpose” eye cream that can solve all my eyes-care issues such as dark circles. With this price point I will only re-purchase it if my puffiness comes back again (finger cross it won’t) where up till today since I’m using Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lift Regenerating Youth Eye Creme, my puffiness had gone completely from my Combo 1 (Estée Lauder’s Cryotherapy Instant Eye De-Puffing Wand + Decorté Moisture Liposome Eye Cream) while my dark circle and fine lines also reduced remarkably from Combo 2 (Estée Lauder’s Cryotherapy Instant Eye De-Puffing Wand + Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lift Regenerating Youth Eye Creme).
